Fought in Israel's liberation war 1948. Emigrated to Montreal Canada 1956. Married Bessie Rosman nee Gontovnick. Was famous for decades as Alexander's Fruit Baskets (Panier Fruit). Affiliated with Shomrim LaBoker, honored many times for selfless communal service. Beloved by all who knew him. In spite of the horrors of the holocaust all testified he was the nicest kindest gentlest thoughtful man they knew and considered him like their own father.
